Egi John Foreisythe adalah seorang bintang akting Indonesia yang melejit lewat sinetron ANAK CUCU ADAM dan KODRAT. Di mana sebelumnya ia menggeluti profesi sebagai seorang model.

Pria kelahiran Jakarta, 14 Juli 1988 itu, sejak berusia dua tahun menjadi bintang iklan makanan bayi, tercatat telah membintangi lebih dari 55 iklan produk. Baru pada saat duduk di kelas 4 SD, dirinya mulai memasuki dunia akting. Egi, saat itu bermain dalam sinetron HANYA SATU MUTIARA arahan sutradara Enison Sinaro.

Berikutnya Egi mendapat peran dalam sinetron KAU BUKAN MILIKMU yang dibintanginya bersama Paramitha Rusady. Egi yang bermain dalam 26 episode itu, mulai mendapat banyak tawaran.

Sinetron lain yang pernah dibintanginya antara lain CINTA BERKALANG NOTA, AMANAH, PUTRI PERGI, KISAH SEDIH DI HARI MINGGU, CINTA BUAT SASHA, JELANGKUNG, DI SINI ADA SETAN, 1001 CARA MENGGAET COWOK dan BIG IS BEAUTIFUL.

Egi yang pernah menjadi juara favorit Cover Boy 2001 itu merupakan anak ketujuh dari delapan bersaudara pasangan R. Yans dan Rina Fauziah M.

Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008 May 4, 2008

Dunia perbulutangkisan kembali disemarakkan dengan penyelenggaraan Kejuaraan Internasional “Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008”. Setelah sukses sebagai penyelenggara pada tahun 2004, tahun ini secara membanggakan TRANS Corp yang menaungi TRANS TV dan TRANS7 kembali memperoleh kepercayaan sebagai official host broadcaster untuk event bergengsi ini. Untuk ajang yang akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 11 - 18 Mei 2008 di Istora Gelora Bung Karno Senayan Jakarta, Trans Corp menggandeng Bank BRI sebagai sponsor tunggal sehinggal secara formal title ajang ini dengan nama “BANK BRI Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008”.

Keikutsertaan Bank BRI pada event ini merupakan salah satu wujud apresiasi Bank BRI dalam memberikan apresiasi bagi olah ragawan Indonesia khususnya atlet bulutangkis yang seringkali mengharumkan nama bangsa. Selian itu juga memberikan peluang bagi Bank BRI dalam berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan rasa nasionalisme, dimana selama ini Indonesia memiliki prestasi yang tinggi di bidang bulutangkis. Sebagai official host broadcaster, TransTV dan Trans7 siap menayangkan pertandingan “BANK BRI Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008” secara eksklusif. Untuk mendukung siaran ‘live’ pertandingan ini TRANS TV dan TRANS7 telah menyiapkan program-program spesial diantaranya Drawing tanggal 28 Februari 2008, Kabar Dari Istora tanggal 11-18 Mei 2008 dan Kuis BANK BRI Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008. Trans7 akan menyuguhkan berbagai informasi seputar BANK BRI Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008 melalui program Sport 7 dan Simulasi Tim Indonesia tanggal 29 Februari 2008 di Bandung serta 29 Maret di Batam.

Tidak ketinggalan Babak Kualifikasi Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup tanggal 19-24 Februari 2008 di Vietnam. Adapun para atlet Indonesia yang akan berlaga di lapangan pertandingan untuk Tim Thomas single adalah Taufik Hidayat, Sonny Dwi Kuncoro dan Simon Santoso. Lalu Tim Thomas ganda ialah Luluk-Alven dan Markis Kiddo-Hendra Gunawan. Sedangkan untuk Tim Uber single diperkuat oleh Maria Kristin, Firdasari dan Via Zebaidah. Serta Tim Uber ganda oleh Jo Novita-Geisya Polii dan Vita Marisa-Liliana Natsir. Pada hari Rabu tanggal 6 Februari 2008 akan dilakukan pula penandatanganan kesepakatan kerjasama dalam bentuk Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) antara TRANS Corp dan BRI sebagai sponsor utama “BANK BRI Thomas Cup dan Uber Cup 2008”. Penandatanganan oleh Bapak Sarwono Sudarto selaku Direktur BANK BRI dengan Bapak Ishadi SK selaku Direktur Trans Corp. dan disaksikan oleh Bapak Chairul Tanjung selaku Komisaris Utama Trans Corp. serta Bapak Sutiyoso selaku Ketua Umum PBSI.

Kemenangan Tim Thomas dan Uber Indonesia akan menjadi kebanggaan bangsa.
